FAQ:

1 - Why you are taking pictures of surfers?
I love sports photography in general, but the challenges and the sense of achievement coming from surf photography are very appealing to me, the ocean, the wind and the constantly changing conditions give me so many different possibilities to create something beautiful that makes me love more and more what I do.

2 - Why here in Christchurch?
First of all, because I live here in Christchurch and secondly because I have noticed that there is no professional photography service dedicated to surfers whether they are pros or beginners.

3 - What if I don’t want you to take pictures of me?
Totally understandable, I apologise if in some way I have violated your space and privacy, it was not my intention. If this is the case please let me know as soon as possible and I will immediately delete the photos from the website and from my archives.

4 - Are the photo for free?
No, the photos are not free, I wish they were, so because it would mean that I have other passive sources of income and I can spend hours and hours devoting myself to my hobbies and passions, but unfortunately it is not my case, and I have to pay the rent and the bills with what I earn like everyone else.

5 - What about if I download your photos from this website?
It wouldn't be very nice to me, since as I explained, this is a service that I am offering and also my job. It would also be illegal and it would be easy for me to understand who downloaded the images and who is using them on the web without my consent.

6 - Why I should pay for your photos?
As mentioned before, it is my job, I am a professional photographer and the material I produce and the images I create are the result of years of study and practice, thousands of dollars in professional equipment and many hours spent photographing on the spot and even more hours spent selecting, editing and resizing every single photo.

7 - What are you offering?
Those interested can purchase the photos they prefer in a digital format suitable for the web and the social network but not suitable for printing. It is also possible to purchase printed photos of the images you prefer in different sizes, and different ratios with the option of having them mounted in different ways or framed.

8 - Can I buy the image file in high resolution so I can print it myself?
This is a very important point. No, it is not possible to purchase HD files. I know it may seem strange and senseless, but it is one of the most important ways to protect my work. Give me a minute to explain why. The photos that my camera produces are processed and edited by me on my computer which is precisely calibrated with the printers I use, in other words, the colours and brightness of the photos I create in the editing phase will correspond exactly to those I produce when I print those files. If I made these files purchasable I would leave the printing phase to my customers who, unfortunately, driven by inexperience and by the desire to save some money, they would end up turning to organisations that would not have my parameters and printing profiles and where the quality is not their absolute priority. This is the only way you can be sure that the prints will be identical to the real photos I took of you.

I will extend and update this list of questions and answers as much as I can because I believe it is very important
for me to be as clear and honest as possible, so please do not hesitate to contact me
in case of questions, info or even just curiosities not present in this list.
