These are the images I produced in the afternoon session, I was on the beach and the Pier from 12:45 pm till 5:00 pm.
I attempted to photograph most of the surfers in the water, but inevitably I was guided by their distance and the quality of the light based on their position relative to me.

All the photos in this gallery are not in high resolution almost 300 it would have been impossible to have an easily navigable gallery. They are in a format suitable for the web that maximises the visual performance on the internet despite having an average size of 250Kb against the 25Mb of the high-resolution file.
